The berries are the fruit of the Sapindus Mukorossi tree. The Soapberries only contain a natural soap, saponin, and no enzymes, optical brighteners or other additives. The saponin is released from the soapberries in hot water, so please note, if you wash at temperatures lower than 30 degrees, we advise you to put the small bag with the berries in hot water for 5 minutes before putting them in the machine.

How to use:

Put 4–5 whole soapberries in the small laundry bag and close carefully. In case of any split berries, choose equivalent to 4–5 whole berries. Place the laundry bag in the machine along with clothes. The soapberries can be used 5 times – unless you wash at 60 degrees or more, in which case they can only be used 2 – 3 times. After use, the soapberries are compostable. You can use soapberries for all kinds of textiles, including linen, wool and silk.
